An individual (one person) may compete in the following Programs: Global Issues, Creative Writing, and/or Community Projects.
Teams may compete in Global Issues and/or Community Projects.

Community Projects do not need to be related to the Topic.
Creative Writing stories are written based on one of the Topics for the given year.
The Global Issues program addresses each Topic throughout the school year.

The Global Issues Program is a competitive booklet that involves researching a topic, and using the creative problem solving (6-step process) to solve a fictional future scenario.
Community Projects uses the same 6-step process to solve a real-life problem of their choosing.
